I am new to all this blog-stuff (and thanks to Anna) she has set me up, and will hopefully prod me here and there to get used to this. Over time, (who knows how much time?) I'll get the hang of it and hopefully this will be a venue for students of iconography to address any issues that come up. Believe me there are many.
